"Each One, Reach One"

A Worship Assembly Especially for Guests

Sunday, May 25, 2008

Bible Class: 9:30AM / Worship: 10:40AM

To our guests,

We want to "roll out the red carpet" for you at the Edmond Church of Christ on Sunday, May 25th!  Please consider being our honored guests for a very special worship service featuring a lesson about Jesus and salvation from our own Alan Martin.

If it's been a while since you've been to church or if you don't really have a church to call "home," then please accept the invitation to worship with us at the Edmond Church of Christ (corner of Bryant & Night, across from Hafer Park) on May 25th.  We won't single you out or do anything to embarrass you.  We would love to meet you and help assist you in having a meaningful worship experience.

Alan Martin, our outreach minister, will present a simple lesson from the Bible. We will sing, pray, share together in communion, and worship together. Please consider joining us for this special time together.

We have classes for children of all ages (9:30AM), including a nursery and Bible Hour for children during the 10:40 worship service.  If you have questions or would like more information, contact Alan or call 341-3353.

To our members,

We're happy you have found a church home at the Edmond Church of Christ!  Now, we challenge you to share our home and enlarge our family by participating in this very special outreach effort, "Each One Reach One."

Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to share Christ with others!  Here are some ways you can get involved:

  1. Make a list and consider family members, friends, colleagues and neighbors you might invite, and pray for them specifically by name.

  2. Take the initiative to invite them to church on Sunday morning, May 25.  We plan to present a simple gospel message and help our guests experience a friendly atmosphere and meaningful worship experience.

  3. Be a gracious host to your guests and all other visitors with us.  Introduce yourself and go out of your way to welcome people you don't know or recognize.

  4. Invite your guests to eat lunch with you after church.  You may even want to partner with another family and invite guests along.

  5. Continue to nurture and develop a sense of urgency and priority in sharing your faith.

  6. Follow-up with your visitors.
